If you think you have what it takes to become Stick ‘n’ Step’s Strictly dance champion 2025 and you love the idea of taking part in a glitzy and glamorous black tie event, to help raise much-needed funds for our charity, please call Norma on 07711 133 284, or email fundraising@sticknstep.org. No dance experience is necessary!

We are calling on our supporters to ‘Go Green’ for a special awareness campaign in March, to mark Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. The whole month is dedicated to the 17 million people around the world diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Our Go Green campaign is launching on 1st March, with green-themed fun planned for the whole month in our classrooms in Wallasey and Runcorn.

Cherry Tree Shopping Centre in Wallasey is holding a special event for the campaign on 8th March, with performances from Hoylake Hands & Voices and SingMe Merseyside Choir, raffle prizes, a tombola and lots more. Our newly appointed Patron, Billy Hui BEM, Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside, BBC Radio Merseyside presenter, and founder and musical director of SingMe Merseyside Choir, will also be attending.

We are hoping that schools, colleges, local businesses and individuals will get involved in raising awareness of cerebral palsy too by holding some Go Green challenges. Here are some ideas:

  • Wear it green day
  • Host a green-themed bake off day
  • Raffle off a green-themed hamper
  • Have a crazy green hair day
  • Hold a sponsored silence or sponsored walk
  • Have a ‘best green dressed desk’ day
